“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”  Psalm 103:11-12  This is Celebration Saturday,  the best day of the week! We get to know the God of all creation has taken our sin and has cast it as far away from us, as far away from Him as it can possibly go. He has taken our sin where it will never be seen again. “He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel.”   Psalm 103:7   Ever wonder what God is up to? Ever question why God does what He does or why things are the way they are?  Of course you have. We all have questioned God from time to time. First of all, we must begin with humility, we must begin with praise. God ... Read More

Jesus satisfies us with good things. This gives us reason to praise Him, to bow our knees to Him in praise. Psalms 37:4 says, “Delight in the Lord and HE will give you the desires of your heart.”  We serve a good God who loves us and wants us to be fulfilled, happy, joyful and satisfied!  Jesus knows what we want and He knows what we desire:  He gave us ... “Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion.”   Psalms 103:4  We have been redeemed from the pit of sin. Have you been redeemed from a pit? Can you remember what your life was like before Jesus and the hope of His rescue from the pit you were in? I believe the pit is different for each of us.  We are trapped by sin and the sin trap is somehow different for each of us. Sin is a trap and surrounds us with the hopeless sense we will never get out. Jesus came and delivered us from the pit.  The sign of being set free is ... Read More
