One way to stay in touch with us is through our Email Newsletter. These usually go out once a month with updates on our church events and perspectives from staff and leaders. We would love to keep in touch with you too!
Connecting with each other is not just some optional add-on to our Christian life. According to scripture, connecting with each other and building each other up is a vital part of our Christian walk. The writer of Hebrews encourages us to "consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Heb 10:24-25).
Connecting with people in the church comes easier to some more than others. If you are wondering where to start, take a look below for the various ways to meet people, develop community, and find encouragement through other believers.
Worship Together
Join us at any of the following services. Childcare and Children's Church is available for birth to 5th grade at all services.
Saturdays - 6:30 PM
Sundays - 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM
Thursdays - 6:30 PM
Our mid-week service starts off with an opportunity to receive prayer from the leadership up by the stage. Then we will join together to worship and open up Scripture. If you are hungry before service, dinner is served at 5:30 PM for just $5.
Introduce Yourself
We may never know you are new unless you let us know. So please, come up to anyone who has a name badge on and say hi. They should be able to point you in the right direction or connect you with the right person.
Hospitality Weekend
Every first full weekend of the month, we not only serve communion during services, but we also open up the Café afterwards with a huge spread of free food to enjoy. Plan on sticking around after service to grab a bite to eat and meet other people.
Join a Small Group
Small groups take on various forms at CBC. Some are Bible study focused. Others revolve around a hobby or activity. Some are service oriented. To get a feel of the groups that are currently meeting, check out our Small Group Finder.
Serve Alongside Other Volunteers
Volunteering provides opportunities, not only to connect with people, but to encourage or assist others in the process. Whether you have one day free or an hour a week open to volunteering, there are opportunities in our church for you to serve. On our Serving Opportunities page, you will find all the different opportunities and be able to search by type, time commitment, and gifting or strength that go along with each.
Come to an Event
There are all sorts of events that take place at the church or off campus. Check out the "Featured Events" at the top of our calendar page.
