Care Department Admin. Assistantoffice: 949.493.2006 x219amys@capochurch.comHOW I GOT HERE
I’m not really sure how I got here?! Totally a God thing! Capo Beach Church has been my “home” church for years and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I had been looking for work for months and praying for God’s will. One day I woke and up and something said to me, “you need to go to CBC and pray with a pastor today,” so off I went. That day I found out they were hiring, I applied and I’ve been here ever since! Amazing how God works!
WHAT I DO HERE
I spend my days here assisting the pastors in the Care Department. Some of my duties include greeting and directing people to the right pastor, either by phone or in person, managing pastoral calendars, conducting general administrative duties, coordinating materials for department activities, and assisting with special events. I have 15 years of experience serving in this capacity and add much value to the Care Department, but I feel I receive so much more than I give. My position here is a blessing and a gift from God.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I love working with people and I have a compassionate heart. I want what I do to make a difference in a positive way. I love the Lord and want to serve him in any way he calls me. I believe God called me to be here, where my spiritual gifts would be best utilized; administration, encouragement, faith, mercy, and discernment.
1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
