As a pastor, I spend most of my time counseling and teaching pre-marital and married couples classes. I am also honored to be able to perform Christ centered marriages.
My vision and goal is to equip and encourage couples in their faith, prayer life, and relationship with our Lord and each other. My approach to marriage education and counseling teaches couples the information and skills they need to communicate clearly and resolve conflict. My approach also provides a roadmap for normal expected challenges, and the tools to make adjustments that will build strong marriages and help couples keep their love alive.
About Karen
I moved to Laguna Niguel with my husband, Dan, and our two children, and started attending CBC in 1990. The Holy Spirit touched our hearts with the first message we heard, and we knew we had found our home church.
I am blessed to serve the community of CBC through our prayer ministries. In addition, the Lord has called me to a biblical counseling and healing prayer ministry.
In 1994, I felt a call to deepen my understanding of the Lord and His ways through His Word and prayer.
One of my greatest passions is to help individuals get connected with God in a more meaningful way. Through the Word and prayer, we remove the misconceptions about God and ourselves that keep us from experiencing meaningful relationships. We also focus on the heart wounds that have become barriers to our growth, and to walk in the abundant life the Lord has promised.
